Martinez Arquitectura

Martinez Arquitectura is an architectural firm that works with design and project development. In the past six months, I have worked on projects of different scales. We also participate in a lot of Public architecture competitions, where I have worked with the rigorous method of making things for presenting them. This experience was one step ahead of the academic way of presenting the work.

The past won competitions are now ongoing projects mainly schools. At the stage of construction, I had to make the details, and some designs and make the final working set sheets for these schools. For A small-scale industrial project, I had to make a few plans to represent the design to the client. My work hence ranged from small-scale projects to very big ones.

Working at the firm has been a great experience.

Culturally and architecturally I learned a lot about the different Practices of construction and design in the Country. I got several opportunities to communicate with different architects and observe their design processes. I also adopted new mechanisms of working in the office. It was really interesting to learn the design ideologies and methods of Colombia. The office was a warm and friendly place, with many new mannerisms.
