The intent was to create a timber pavilion such that one can experience intimacy and proximity in it. The strategy to create this experience was to make a dense , pavillion with a small varying scales such that one feels can easily touch the structural members ,. The imagination of the pavillion was a maze like space where thin timber members are woven into each other to form a perforated facade . The stacking of these structural members modulates light and therefore intimacy can also be experienced through the light quality in the space
